I enjoyed this. I could feel the meaning of the words-verbs especially- in the rhythm and pacing you created, Mark!

Thank you Diahann. I wanted a sense of physical presence and am glad you feel it worked.

I agree with Diahann. And the word “conspiratorial” doesn’t get used nearly often enough. 🙂

Well I am a bit of conspiracy theorist so it bounces about the brain Tony!

Excellent, Mark! I love poems that tell a story, and this one seems to hint at a very intriguing one.

A poseur or a lost soul? Sometimes I wonder if I am going to be ‘found out’ – there are times when I feel I do not know what I am doing but that others haven’t realised it yet!

Catchy phrase…”shredded paper for delving effect”. Still chuckling….

Thanks Jana! Your latest series has put me in a particularly noirish frame of mind…..

      Thanks for letting me know.

Wonderfully visual, a word drawing, mysterious beyond the borders but satisfying in its glimpse of metaphor…

A life most ordinary perhaps attempting to be extraordinary. Thanks so much, regards Mark.
