HER BREATH

Sign of the Times-0250

There it is on the mirror
Pursed, she leans in close
But doesn’t touch
Doesn’t smudge it

A little mist
A tiny pool
No blood or sweat or spit
Just it

Her breath on the mirror
Lifeless
Breathless

Mark, love this, quite captivating, I read “HER BREATH” several times. I’m wowed as always with your writing, here giving wonderment to such a fleeting moment, before it evaporates. A fantastic image by Christine as well, the photo holds hand so nicely with your words.

    Take care,
    Pepper

I had chosen another image but Christine convinced me this was the one. Thank you, as always, for your words.
